About Us

St. Luke's Church, Chamarajpet, Bangalore is a Protestant Church under the banner of Church of South India, Karnataka Central Diocese.  The Worship Services are mainly conducted in Tamil which starts at 8.30a.m.  The First, Third and Fifth Sundays are observed as Holy Communion Services with Sung Liturgy and the Second and Fourth Sundays as Matins.  Besides the Tamil Services, English Services are conducted at 7.15 a.m. with the Short Order for the Lord's Supper on the Second and Fourth Sundays. .

Mission Fields

BIDADI:

The Church has identified two villages at the place called Bidadi, which is about 30 Km's from Bangalore on the Mysore Highway.  An evangelist has been appointed who regularly conducts Sunday school for the children of the villages.  

ROYAKOTTAI:

In commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Church (1935 - 2010), two and a half acres of land has been purchased at Royakottai, on the Dharmapuri Road, near Hosur in Tamil Nadu, which is about 80 Km from Bangalore.  The Church has developed this place into a Christian Retreat Centre, and Primary Health Centre.
